Slick Promotions
As a custom, short-run, print house specializing in the production of print proofs, Slick Promotions blends traditional graphic arts based film and hand work with contemporary digital advancements. The proofs produced vary from the creation of dry transfers for models to project based color studies to complete packaging prototypes for commercial shoots, presentations and marketing samples.
Projects produced have included a combination of first and second surface printing on a variety of substrates from acetate, PVC, polyester — clear, milky, frosted, opaque, and metallized or pressure sensitive sheets — shrink film, vinyl, and traditional paper stocks. Spot colors — ranging from metallic, fluorescent, and transparent inks to liquid foils and a host of other effects pigments — are utilized in conjunction with four color process, gloss or matte finishes, and hot foil simulation.

The marketing sample was produced as a mailer to showcase their prototype capabilities to prospective clients. Printed on silver mylar, the printing process included two separate hits of opaque white, four color process, spot black, transparent blue and fluorescent orange.
